Description

The Robin Hood Line is operated by
East Midlands Trains and is funded by Nottinghamshire County Council, Derbyshire County Council and Nottingham City Council. It provides a rail link between Worksop and Nottingham on weekdays and Saturdays.

You can connect with the national rail network at both Nottingham and Worksop Stations. At Nottingham there are frequent direct services to London, Birmingham, Derby, Leicester, Manchester (including Manchester Airport), Norwich and other centres.

At Worksop you can connect with trains for Sheffield and Lincolnshire; and via Retford, with trains to Scotland, the North East and London.

The Robin Hood Line doesn't operate on Sundays at present but thanks to a public campaign a Sunday service will begin on Sunday 7th December 2008. A timetable is yet to be finalised but it is expected that there will be ten trains per day in each direction, with four of these travelling to/from Worksop and the other six to/from Mansfield Woodhouse.
