Walks in Bolsover District

The Stockley Trail: This trail is approximately two miles in length and runs parallel to the River Doe Lea from Carr Vale, near Bolsover, to Glapwell following the former Glapwell Colliery railway line. The trail gives access to the Carr Vale Nature Reserve and the Peter Fidler Nature Reserve. Also, footpaths to a number of places of interest link to the Stockley Trail. The trail is suitable for walkers, cyclists and horse riders. The grid reference is SK 463 705. There is a car park at the start of the trail just off the A632 at the bottom of Bolsover Hill.
